What is Kinetic Lab?

Kinetic Lab is a locally owned small business in the heart of Northern Colorado, built to support movement, strength, and total body wellness. We offer group classes and open gym hours, creating a space for all fitness levels to train with purpose.

Our Recovery Area is where health is wealth. We believe in recovering from the root cause, not just the symptoms. Members have access to an infrared sauna, cold plunge, vibration plates, red light therapy, and a massage chair because recovery is just as important as the workout.

At Kinetic Lab, training and recovery work together so you can move better, feel stronger, and live healthier.

The worst trainer we have. If your goal is to talk all day and do nothing she gots you

About Us

At Kinetic Lab, functional training meets intentional recovery to create a balanced, results‑driven fitness experience. We believe strength is built in the moments of effort and the moments of restoration, which is why our space is designed to support your body from warm‑up to cool‑down.

Members enjoy full access to free weights and premium equipment before and after every class, making it easy to personalize your training and push toward your goals at your own pace. Beyond the workout floor, we elevate your wellness routine with a wide variety of recovery amenities, including a rejuvenating sauna, invigorating cold plunge, vibration plates, a relaxing massage chair, and more.

Whether you're here to build power, improve mobility, or simply feel better in your body, our community‑focused environment gives you the tools, support, and recovery options you need to thrive. This is more than a gym, it’s a place where you train hard, recover smart, and become your strongest self.

Paul Ruiz
Title "Personal Trainer"
Paul believes that reaching peak fitness shouldn’t feel like a second job. His coaching philosophy is rooted in a simple, accessible approach: for those with the passion to improve and the interest to learn new skills, Paul provides the tools to get them there.
His background is defined by a deep love for precision and technicality. Whether he is refining gymnastic skills, mastering Olympic lifting, or coaching high-intensity workouts, Paul’s focus is always on the "how." He helps members master the exact mechanics of a movement to ensure they train harder, safer, and with more confidence. Paul brings that same high-precision mindset to nutrition coaching, helping clients cut through the noise to find simple, sustainable ways to fuel their bodies and achieve their goals.
When he’s not at the gym, Paul can usually be found on the golf course, honing his own competitive drive, or out for a long walk with his dog, Pharaoh. A firm believer that fitness should be fun, he thrives on the energy of group settings and is always ready with a well-timed (or poorly-timed) dad joke to keep the atmosphere light while the work gets done.

Jane Kayl
Title "Manager/Personal Trainer"

I am passionate about holistic wellness, with an approach that integrates fitness, nutrition, emotional and energetic health. With over 22 years of experience coaching and teaching, fitness has been a lifelong passion—not just a means to achieve aesthetic goals, but a powerful tool for health, confidence, and longevity.

I enjoy training and lifting weights and bring that same enthusiasm into the group fitness setting. I love supporting participants by creating classes that are fun, engaging, and productive, while meeting people where they are in their journey.

Through my whole-body wellness approach, my goal is to educate and empower clients with the tools, knowledge, and encouragement they need to reach their health goals and feel strong, capable, and supported inside and out.
